16x DVDRW Diode wont burn through anything
it produce a really dim dot. if I put an object close to it I can see the red dot.- dungtran88

16x DVDRW Diode wont burn through anything
Hic. I've killed 5 diode already. 4 are from broken DVDRW that I have and 1 From my PC :cryyy::cryyy::cryyy: 4 of them I shock it so that is why it die, but this 5th one didnt die, its just dim, really dim. I'm out of DIODE now. SOOOO SAD.- dungtran88

I've change the Pot to 100ohm and it seem to be stronger than before. I use 5ohms resistor and it was able to burn but it take about 10sec to start burning so I change to 4.7ohms and it take longer to burn. After that I switch back to 5ohms the laser was really dim and now it wont goes any...- dungtran88

I've followed the AI and make my own driver for it but it doesn't seem to have enough power to burn through anything. I follow this AI: http://i485.photobucket.com/albums/rr220/iskor12/LM317_components01_001.jpg it doesn't matter if I use one 10ohm resistor or two, it still won't burn through...- dungtran88
