well i have had this driver laying around for a bit now since my open can 20x died. this driver is the adjustable one and i dont feel like ordering another one if it is not necessary thanks dan :)

ok so i ordered a phr-803t from drew on here. i am going to be running this diode with the rkcstr driver i was wondering is there anyway to calculate the current without a dummy load? thanks dan :)

i know a fair amount about the rkcsrt driver but what about the flexdrive ? do you need to run 2.25v above the diodes voltage or is that only with the rkcstr driver

ok so i am new here and i just burnt out a sony 16x dvd laser diode i bought this from stonetek and so i am wondering what would cause the diode to randomly burn out. i am well i was running this diode at 280ma because i wanted to be a little under the 300ma recommended current for these diodes...
