Place a black paper/anything dark underneath some hand sanitizer. Use your burning laser (mine were dilda, 100mw green, and 120mw phr-803t) to burn the dark paper. Air bubbles from the smoke will form in the sanitizer and immediately make popping noises. Warning: sanitizer could light up.

I got the 300mw and turned out to be around 200mw average after about 20 secs. But others who have purchased the same one received around a 70mw grennie. Focal price sells unstable lasers.

So has anyone else got a decent laser from focalprice. Other than mine.

Re: Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits I figured it out. Somehow both +- were touching each other on the diode. Probably because the flashlight i am using has a tight fit.

Re: Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits Well when i connected the test load. I got output of only 3.6v while using a 10440 battery. Then i connected the diode and measured the voltage at the terminals i got zero volts. Its in a flashlight case so i have a switch.

my laser fell to 169mw this morning after i left it on for 23 mins for further testing. Its not going past 200mw now!!!(highest so far now is 189mw) Yikes unstable laser. This means that either focal price or the manufacturer pot modded this laser to make it seem like 300mw. The end of this...
