I am in the market for a new host for a 445nm. How is the lab looking host for heat sinking? What is the duty cycle of the 445's you have built in them.

I ruled out pocket lint when I took the lens off and the output still looked wrong, as no lint could get under the threads of the lens. I blew it out with canned air anyway though, but its still the same. UPDATE: I have now discovered as I rotate my pen, the output changes, what does this mean?

I got my new diode today, and everything works great! I lit a green match as almost as soon as I hits the right spot on the focus. I also cut the outer body of the wooden host I am making, and that looks great too. I will post pics when I am done
