Looks like it got a little too hot. It didn't work at all for a few minutes. After reading your faq, I aimed the laser at my phones camera and could see the red/purple light coming from the bottom of it. I did not look directly into it, I looked at it trough the screen of my phone.

Im using 1,5's. Have them on the heater now, on top of a blanket and will try it when its hotter. Your FAQ was very helpful.
