dorcy discontinued these models but they sell the newer version of these which is slightly different.i know couple of members make heatsinks for these but i cant remember their names.

i think you would need atleast 50mw red for 10mw green

did you set a current on the driver?

can't you just epoxy the the edge of the driver to the diode(not the pins) for the tension?

thats how i want to build it too.im pretty sure it will work since you don't need to circuit board of the flashlight but you will need batteries thats a bit shorter as jay said above.
