Reason for an 808nm is i have some usefulness needs for a burning laser but need the beam to be as non visible as possible And since i already have an 808nm IF 1 watt diode just laying around i figured time to put it to use.

Thanks for the info.I got goggles from O-like Protective Wavelength 200-450,800-2000nm Suitable for 405nm,808nm,780nm,980nm,1064nm laser protect.I have built a 445nm 1 watt laser i was told that the module in it wouldn't work with the 808nm.

Hi i have a 9mm 808nm 1 watt diode. I'm bit of a noob to building lasers iv built a few from kits where all u had to do was buy the kit and the diode and put it together I have seen lots of portable 808nm 1 watt lasers but after weeks and weeks of research I haven't been able to find a build...
