Re: Question about the power of DVD diode and the Yep, The spec sheet could help me a lot. But sometimes it's hard to get it. Because the laser diodoe is different from a normal bulb, it requires the current in a very accurate levle... So wonder the current that could just start the diodes is...

That's great, the power is enough... Um...Do you use a circuit to power the laser diode? Or connect it with a DC power directly?

If you want to buy laser diode, I suggest you to buy it in China. A 16X sunsung DVD burner is just cost 20$, you may not believe this, but I could buy hundreds of it in china, they are new and with good quality...(but post it to you may spent more than that...) And the most unbelieveable thing...
