New to lasers, my laser is not working!
I was actually trying to figure that out. If I am just shining it inside and random things and using it outside at night do you need eye protection? Do you usually just need it if you are going to be staring at the beam for a long time or if you are going to play with mirrors? I wasn't sure of...- avengence

New to lasers, my laser is not working!
The one I have says its 100mw but I am guessing its nowhere near 100mw. It didn't ever light matches or anything. I could sort of see the beam in a room during the day and at night you could see the beam clearly. I was looking at getting a whole new pointer but I want one around 50-100mw and it...- avengence

Alright so my wife got me a laser for Christmas and I was using it it stopped working. I tried different batteries and I tried to press the button harder, etc and nothing worked.
