ahaha i was a bit silly and wanted to make it more powerful but i didnt think and it blew the diode out

nah i had a battery pack of 12 volts and it was too much power it blew the diode and i want to keep it in my signature for memories ;)

if i order one of those modules from ebay will it go through customs? i has a ready driver and stuff in it

other one died to :*(

i think its a 500mW, no way it could be a 5000mW

my green laser isnt still working i soldered a new button on and new spring but still didnt work its turns on but the power goes off slowly :/ i put new batteries it still does the same thing, but when i wire the module to battery pack it works i dont know why

hmmmm i was just checking the button then all of a sudden the button got pushed in all the way and then the button became loose

hey sorry Tech_Junkie for ingonring you :/ i did what you said there was no faint red glow and i didnt look inside it, then i got the module out of the host and wired the batteries to the driver then it started to work lol

yea i tried warmimg up it still didnt work its the only green laser i have :/ i cant get another one here

yes ive changed the batteries to fresh and old ones still didnt help :/

hey everyone today i was playing with my green laser then the power slowly started to go out then i pressed the button again then it completely died out :( did my laser die? :confused:

you should read the thread "build your own laser", and the easiest laser to start off with which i think is the PHR-803T its very easy to build, it could also burn and smoke stuff its an awesome laser if you want to build a very powerful laser such as a 1W i recommend to practice with cheap...

Oh ok and I'm not sure if the host is wired correctly
