Thanks for the replies and PMs, fellas! I've sent some PMs back! And yes, it is a 2-cell D model... it has what looks like a nylon sleeve inside so the 26650s are a snug fit.

I'm in Northern Virginia... I can ship to wherever. My thought is that the diode is toast? I'm guessing either damaged from the batts being to low (if that's a thing), or perhaps he put them in backwards after a long time?I just ordered brand new EVVA 26650 (5200mAh) cells... all charged up...

So a little update for everyone here... I knew up front that my "gatlin style" laser purchased from DHGate.com was not going to be 10w... hahaha... or anything even close to it! So after I got my LaserBee, I tested it and found it to be around 640mW... not bad, and still the most powerful laser...

Welp, I'm not gonna lie... while I didn't wear the goggles every time I turned that thing on inside, and not once the two times I used it outside at night (and no, I'm not the kinda person that would ever shine it on anything living or man-made, by default) to see just how visible the beam was...
