    Alternative to WL's Arctic?

Not as nice as I'd like to see, but for that price still impressive (sorry for my skepticism, but I had a 200mw red that pulsed 200mw then after a few seconds dropped to 150mw. which was still good, but not what was implied in the advertisement)

    Alternative to WL's Arctic?

I love the $$$ of dragon's blue spartan though I hate the fact it looks like a flashlight... I prefer the straight-sided tubes like my CNI and old (dead) Pulsar had... Though for that cost, one cant really complain... (of course what does it take to get the 1W output? fresh lithium batteries...

    We need some steampunk hosts...

YES! YES! YES! I *need* a bow-mounted L.A.S.E.R. to defend my airship with! (granted I dont *have* an airship, but that's a minor technicality to be dealt with at a later time) too bad, I have aluminum but no brass... (and how simple it would be to buy a brass Kaleidoscope and retrofit a laser...

    Pricing confusion/question...

Wow, you guys really dont prune your old users (though I'm glad of it) I bet NOBODY here remembers me... Anyway... I'm looking for a new laser... and I dont understand the costs here... The way I understand it, IR is the cheepest, followed by red, then green, then blue. But when I look at the...

    FS: 200mw red Atek handheld.

CR123X2, 200mw, NO DUTY CYCLE! (literally I left it on for >20 min to do a burn test and it wasn't but room temparature!) I'm losing inerest in lasers, especially with a severely limited budged and some large bills creeping in, so I'm selling this one. (if anyone's wondering, NO, I am NOT...

Most power laser avalible to consumers?

Where else? eBay! lol. A SS1 YAG pulses at ~1MW. I'm seriously tempted by that being <$500! (though I have no idea what the PSU would cost. Atleast it dosent need cooling since it's pulsed) Though I have NO realistic use for it, since a single pulse isn't worth much to me unless I want to punch...

60 watt burning laser cuts thu iron

lol, that's a little mroe than 1/2 the power I'm wanting. Trying to get a 100W CO2, though the 1MegaWatt YAG is also tempting ;)

Most power laser avalible to consumers?

@ mario: 2K? I've seen them for much closer to 1K, though the prices might have changed... I've been waverng back and forth between SS1 and CO2, though int eh end I'll probably end up with a CO2

Most power laser avalible to consumers?

Very simple question. What's the most powerful laser avalible to consumers. And no, I dont care if you know a guy that will sell you a 4KW laser for just $20,000, that doesnt count ;) My guess is a SS1 YAG, (pusled) outputting power is ~ 1MW (1Megawat, 1000 mw)
