Did the original poster get my message about my Super Storm X7. If he can't find the replacement parts, maybe he'd be interested in a trade. The specs for the Super Storm are below.
Wolf-Eyes Super Storm X7
I think I better ask this in a different way because everyone thinks I'm going to be using this for regular "wire stripping". I won't be. I should go back to my first example. I HAD, a cheap modded laser (my friend back in MA modded it without my permission actually) that I used from everything...
Why wouldn't you bother with the Wicked S1 Sonar? What about the O-lite 200mW? Can you give me some reasons why you wouldn't purchase them?
Also can you answer the questions I posted previously. I pasted them below.
Does 12X refer to the speed of the blue-ray burner drive the diode was removed...
12X refers to the speed of the blue-ray burner drive the diode was removed from? I'm looking on the forums to see who's selling them. Are these the same diodes the Wicked S1 Sonar and the O-lite 200mW use? How much can I expect to pay for a custom build?
kiyoukan, I'll check out Daguin and see...
"I had a cheap laser..." I wish I still had that cheap laser :( Unfortunately the mod also made it die rather quickly and I've been unable to find another one like it. Based on these responses I guess nobody here can or wants to suggest anything. Guess I'll decide on one of the 2 I posted in the...
You're saying neither Wicked's S1 Sonar Lunar or O-likes 200mW blueray will do the trick? I had an old cheap modded laser I used to light cigarettes that could do it. Why couldn't a 200mW laser be strong enough to melt tiny bits of plastic insulation?
Thanks for the replies guys. I don't need to cut copper wires with it HAHA. I think even the Artic would have a problem with that. I'd just like to be able to melt the soft insulation on Cat5, RJ45 and Coax cabling for some special/intricate/delicate projects. Not for mass wire stripping or...
I'm looking for a blue ray laser that can pretty quickly melt the plastic off Cat5 or Coax cables. I'm looking for suggestions/advice/recommendations and custom builds. I've narrowed it down so far to:
Sonar Extreme
200mW blu-ray torch/adjustable/focusable [OL-405-200-T] - $105.99 : Welcome to...
I have a Wolf Eyes Super Storm X7 Super LED (1300 lumens). Cost me a pretty penny, but the brightness was unbelievable. Unfortunately the front lens cap's thread (where the lens is)stripped off suddenly while fishing and fell into the ocean along with one of the individual led reflectors from...
