DL vs. LG: Which 5mW 589nm Pointer?

What about a feedback mechanism for constant brightness, like in LG's? Do you know?

DL vs. LG: Which 5mW 589nm Pointer?

That's really helpful, thanks so much!! I'll ask DL if they include IR filter and negative energy feedback.

DL vs. LG: Which 5mW 589nm Pointer?

Well, yes, that would be nice, but I want to stay at 5mW or under, because I don't want to be responsible for anything stronger yet. Even 10mW is higher power than is safe for blink reflex, so I don't know if it's a risk I can take. What do you think?

DL vs. LG: Which 5mW 589nm Pointer?

I know how terrible and ridiculous and hilariously frivolous a yellow pointer is, but I just can't get over the elitism of owning one!! As such, I am deciding between Laserglow's Rigel HV (the 5mW one, of course) and Dragon Lasers' 5mW Aurora model. They both appear to have identical...

    Opto or LG Pointer?

Thanks, sounds good! Follow up question: what is the lens material for the Anser, any of Optotronics' pointers, and the WL Core? I actually scratched my Core's lens while CLEANING it with a MICROFIBER cloth... Don't want to risk that again.

    Opto or LG Pointer?

Ok, simple enough question here: 5mw green pointer. Optotronics or Laserglow?

    What's Wrong with My Lens?

I've tried cleaning the lens several times now, and it looks different, but more like a scratch now than ever. There is now a single straight line of light that bisects the point. This picture isn't great, but it's good enough, I think. I checked my laser's manual because I remembered...

    What's Wrong with My Lens?

I'm worried that I may have created an abberation in the lens of my WickedLasers Core! The lens had become a little dusty, so I followed the instructions and cut the end off a Q-Tip, put a microfiber cloth over it, put a drop of alcohol on it, and gently wiped the lens. I did this several...

    Nice, thanks! Looks great.

    Looking for Glasses

Alright, so I'm going to be buying an 80mW 405nm pointer, and all the options for safety glasses are a little confusing. Could someone please give me a good, basic, scientific explanation of the different specifications of laser glasses, along with a link to a decent (as in, like, under $30)...

    Calling All 5mWs!

Thanks! Strangely enough, I actually have a Wicked Lasers Core that is not only operational, but--you'll never believe it--is really bright! I know, shocking, right?! I only ask because I was curious about where to get a fine pointer if ever I need one again, WITHOUT the five-week...

    Calling All 5mWs!

Alright, this one's real simple: what are the most RELIABLE, most STURDY, most CONSTANT, ultimately BEST 5mW laser pointers on Earth? I'm talking, like, each color.

100mW: Too Strong for a Simple Enthusiast?

To all of you who have given me information and advice, I thank you! I'll wait until after the holidays sometime to actually make a purchase (I've decided that 100mW is ultimately too much for me; I'll stick with BTB's 80mW pen), but you've helped me in making a safe and well-informed decision...

100mW: Too Strong for a Simple Enthusiast?

Ok, thanks. Now to return to my original question about safety, I'm probably going to buy BTB's 100mW 405nM Handheld, and I'll buy safety glasses for it, too, but I don't want to have to use tinted glasses every time I want to shine the laser! I'll never even get to enjoy the color or...

100mW: Too Strong for a Simple Enthusiast?

Oh, I meant, what do they stand for? Is it HL=Handheld Laser, PL=Portable Laser (or Pen Laser?), and LPF... I have no idea! And you also mentioned LP; what do they all stand for?
