I have two (2) lasers that need to go, I sold my glasses (ML-7's) so both of these need to find a new home.
Both are "as new", neither or either has been used more than 20 minutes (and i'm being generous) total.
$150 for both including S&H and I do not want to split them up, they go as one.
#1...
I have a couple of custom lasers that I would like to liquidate, should I just post the images and any other of info that my pea brain knows right here for an appraisal from our great members (these are older but pretty darn good)?
Should I PM a respected member, or should I just pick a price...
For the first time in its history, the U.S. Navy fired a laser ray gun mounted on a warship, zapping -- and setting fire to -- an empty motorboat as it bobbed in the Pacific Ocean.
The test demonstration, which took place off the Southern California coast near San Nicholas Island, could mark a...
Be on the lookout for Aurora activity!
NOAA forecasters estimate a 30% to 35% chance of minor geomagnetic storming during the late hours of Feb. 14th and 15th. The activity could descend to northern-tier US states such as Minnesota and Wisconsin. Alaska, Canada and Scandinavia are...

Thanks for looking,

I'm thinking of (and probably will) selling my "custom" 20mW/635nm laser.
I have no idea what to ask for her and would like some of the more knowledged members to give me a ball park for an asking price.
I aquired the parts and sent them off to GooeyGus for the build.
The parts used ...
And I don't mean fig. :)
I caught this video (I guess you can call it a biography) about Issac Newton on my local PBS channel when it was first released years ago (it was done by the BBC and I think they did a great job), it had to be the fastest hour I ever spent in front of my TV.
It shows a...
I have had this in the corner of my closet for several years so it must go.
I originally bought it to mod a few motherboards but found out that a few well placed microclips gave me the same results, good thing because my soldering skills stink! :barf:
I have not used it but did fire it up after...
I have a practicaly new ATN Night Shadow night vision device.
IIRC I bought it < 2 years ago and have used it all of one time (probably less than 5 minutes run time), it was one of those "I got to have it" purchases.
I'm asking $250 (S&H included) or will trade for a real nice 532nm portable...
I have a pair of ML7 glasses (good for a lot of WL's) that have not been exposed to laser radiation, I bought them and never used the darn things!
Asking $140 including S&H to U.S.A. only, and I will have to say that they are "virtually new".
They come with a very nice zippered case and all...
I don't know if this info has been posted before.
What are your thoughts on this diode?
I think it might make a real nice build. ;)

I know there are a few factors to be considered, but just to make things equal let's suppose...
You are using a very good heatsink and are using a conservative duty cycle, and let's just say the diode is rated for 25mw by the manufactor.
What kind of mw's could you get without killing the diode...
