Review of the Tinker brand Yellow-Amber/Yellow-Orange 593.5nm DPSS Laser Pen

BTTT: For reasons as-of-yet unknown, my sister decided to throw the metal storage case in the dustbin (garbage can) this afternoon.

Review of the Blue 450nm Directly-Injected Diode Laser Pen

Now that's downright wierd. o_O Making the sensor more toward green/cyan brings it FARTHER away from yellow.

Review of the Blue 450nm Directly-Injected Diode Laser Pen

I've never heard of an "emerald sensor" but it sounds counterintuitive re: being able to photograph yellow lasers. :(

Review of the Blue 450nm Directly-Injected Diode Laser Pen

Well, the seller of that Kodak camera won't ship or respond to my queries, so I ordered (well, started bidding on) another camera from a different seller. To wit: This is a Kodak Easyshare V1003. It has a 10MP sensor and has 3x optical zoom. Again, kind of a beater, but it will suffice for my...

Review of the Cyan 488nm Directly-Injected Diode Laser Pen

Thank you for your compliments on my review!!! I don't know who the manufacturer of the laser diode in this unit is. "immerged" -- that's a funny word; I've never seen it before. ;)

Review of the Blue 450nm Directly-Injected Diode Laser Pen

I started with a Jam Cam in the mid-1990s -- the name Jam Cam was quite appropriate as it was always jamming. o_O Since then I've had Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Polaroid, and several other brands. But this will be my first Kodak. This is what the assinine thing (the Jam Cam) looked like. It...

Review of the Blue 450nm Directly-Injected Diode Laser Pen

I've used digital cameras for decades. but my last one was lost on 05-15-21 along with everything else that I owned. The one I'm getting will be a Kodak Easyshare 2710. It's just a beater camera that didn't cost me a lot of $ ($15.00 in this case), but it should do the job. It has a 7.10MP...

Ok I just bit the bullet and purchased a digital camera. I may be able to start publishing those static beamshots. ETA is 11-14-23.

    450nm blue laser is here!!!

The laser arrived a short time ago today; fireworks were surprisingly minimal though I could definitely detect disdain in my sister's voice.

Yellow Laser finally after 25 years...

She is by her very nature paranoid; not much I can do there.

Yellow Laser finally after 25 years...

No, she does not have children of any age.

    450nm blue laser is here!!!

Unfortunately, I have very few options here -- all of them bad. :(

    450nm blue laser is here!!!

That would cause me to be immediately moved to the nursing home, which sometimes reeks of piss and where the food frequently tastes like cat food. 😱 Since I cannot tolerate that, I have to choose the lesser of two evils.

    450nm blue laser is here!!!

This is a good idea, but is happening right after the mail is brought in and is being opened. Since I am unable to open mail myself, she or my B.I.L. must do it, and that is the moment she could strike.

    450nm blue laser is here!!!

No, but she's come awfully close and even threatened to throw lasers into the dustbin immediately upon receipt.

    450nm blue laser is here!!!

Here's hoping that I get this laser without my sister getting a bee in her bonnet and throwing it into the dustbin (garbage can). It's supposed to be 5mW at 450nm so we'll see just how they hold up. Original ETA was 11-09-23 but it arrived near 12:15pm PDT on 11-03-23...
