Temperature is the thing Im thinking about... the mount is just some alu alloy and I need that for cnc cutter so the copper module would be better but I cant find any copper heatsinks with fan... just the cheap chinese or those from odicforce

Hello, I would like to ask if anybody is using laser module from odicforce in combination with nubm44 diode. The diode holder seems to have hole for diode pins with too small diameter. Is it possible to use this module host with nubm44 host? Or do I need to drill that hole to make it wider?

Hello everybody, I'm planning to build nubm44 handheld laser. I found somewhere that it can output 7,9W @ 5.5amps but Im wondering what host should I use. Using survivallaser c6 or s4 host with so small heatsink would be very bad idea. Looking forward for your replies.

Duty cycle is about 1min on, this type of diode doesn't produce much heat. Im saving parts for another builds, don't want to have 5 same lasers :) Thanks :)

Nice laser, I did same laser as my first build but with blue ano heatsink and extended blue focusing ring :)

Yes, I hate making them too short too, but the final laser worths that :)
