Thanks : D , Just so you/he is aware the black bucks are thermally epoxied to the water block so cannot be removed , The caps are there to protect the bucks from spikes , just a habit I have to add them
Also be aware that are fiber launched diodes , so the output is very divergent and you...
Hi ,
Sine I have slowed down in the laser hobby , thought I would list these two diodes .
I have them listed on ebay and that is where I would like to sell them trough as its much easier for me , I have the GSP option for orders outside the UK .
Both diodes where purchased used a while back...
Only tested one row @ 3A , ( 5 diodes , Forward voltage is around 20 - 22V ish )
Not done any more test yet as I need to get a good setup going for it .

As mentioned in this and the ebay thread these are two rows of 24 vertically emitting diodes that are directly doubled using a PPLN crystal .
Input is around 20A , Heater voltage / current isn't given probably to due slight differences in temperature needed to get the best output .
33C on the...
I cannot say on the module in the above picture as mine is a newer design , In mine there is a built in heater mounted to the PPLN and two 10KOhm thermistors , one for the diode and one for the PPLN , this I assume is the same / similar to the older style unit - there may be differences but...
You need to regulate the diodes at 33C I believe for the best output , though the PPLN heater control is a must to get any green at all , ignoring the PPLN heater will give poor output
I have yet to run mine past 16A , Still need two temperature controllers
Hi All .
This was my first attempt at building a small phase change system .
There was no real gain to be made from this on the CPU other than for the building experience : ) .
Specs are -
Secop 30AA 3cc R600a compressor
2.8m 0.8mm Capillary tube .
120mm 13W AC fan and 120x120x50mm...
I'm aware of the replies ,
I Fully agree that care needs to be taken when doing stuff like this and that the OP needs to be considerably more safety concerned but simply putting the whole idea down is beyond me .
