I am very new to the forum so I apologize ahead of time for my question. What is the best burning handheld laser I can buy? Rick Trent said to go with his 3.5W blue laser.

I suggest you delete one of them. If you can't do it on your own, ask a moderator to do it for you. I believe the active ones are Hap, ArcticDude and maybe Ears and Eggs.

Trying to do burning without proper protection is a recipe for destroyed retinas. Being close up to a focused dot is second only to direct beam exposure in eye-damage terms. If you haven't already, read every stickied post in the Laser Safety forum and make the right choices here.

...Oh hang on a second... I should have checked your post history first :)

In your posting history you recently advertised a 7W Sanwu for sale with comments about "Burning things was fun for a little bit, but then got boring." Can't decide if you're a troll or just have really short term memory...
