I'd recommend testing the drivers you got with the lot first. Maybe try different combinations of 1 or 2 3V batteries using the diode bank with 1-ohm resistor as a load.
I'm pretty sure the 650's are the ones found in old DVD burners.
I have used the 808nm to light matches on fire, but have never measured it on an LPM or had an opportunity to see it through NV goggles.
I haven't done anything with my laser hobby for a couple of years now, so I am selling everything except some of my favorite handhelds. I would like to keep the entire lot together and am asking $90 shipped. Photos and item descriptions below:
Two green pointers between 5 and 50mW, and one...
I've searched everywhere for laser diode drivers, but all the good ones were
sold by people who have since left the business.
The only ones I can find are DTR's X-Boost T-mini which is too expensive, and the Micro Boost Drive V1 which I've had bad experiences with.
Where do you guys get your...
How do you change the output current on this Driver? I have mine set on the 'low' setting,
but how would I get it to output about 200mA from a 18650 battery?
It's "high" compared to most of the rechargeable batteries we commonly use
with lasers.
I tried 2x 16340s, they provide the right voltage, but don't fit in the host.
I have two questions:
How accurate is a test load composed of just a one ohm resistor?
I calculate the current by measuring the voltage across it.
Is there a battery the size of the 22600 battery that provides at least 5.5V?
I need something that will fit in an MXDL host and will power a 1.65...
I need a heatsink for this host: Ultrafire C2 DIY Cree LED Flashlight Shell/Casing Complete Set with Driver Pill (1*18650/2*CR123A) - Worldwide Free Shipping - DX
It's the one you have listed in your machine shop.
I need it to fit a 12mm copper module like the one here...
