ummmm you can not "draw" your own graphics with DMX, DMX is simply to control the internal programs! if you want to do those really good animations and such, you need ILDA, or some other form of computer control.

Okay, maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but they're quoting shipping costs to the USA at over $200US each. Am I missing something here?

I am the only one that has used the word DMX so I guess your post is at me  ;D. Yes I know DMX control will not allow me to draw my own animations. All I am using the DMX board for is for an auto beam show with sound (like your scanner). I will use an external USB to ILDA for full control when needed.


For anyone interested in a set of 12k galvos with driver boards and PSU I have the price below from LaserPic the manufacturer on the 12k Galvo set.
The cost of a single set is $100 + shipping and if someone wanted to do a group buy of 10 units the cost is then $80 a set.

to run your owns shows you need a DAC, ILDA is the file format.

Not sure. The guy doing the GB will need to ask LaserPic. I paid $60 shipping for my 30k set and a few other bits I wanted from them.

Errr I emailed them and said "Excuse me how much is a set of your new 30k galvos shipped to the UK". He gave me a price and I paid via PayPal. Units are in transit now. ;D

$100 for a single set of 12k or $80 if someone was to order 10 for a GB. I have my set so I can't do the GB.

BTW I got my 30k set for $250 and Laser show parts sells the same thing for $442.28
