OK, thanks for the info. The laser seems OK and will easily burn things, but thought this looked a little weird, so wanted to ask. I also have a 445 nm 2W (this green one is 1W), and the blue laser looks a lot cleaner.

Not sure if this is normal, but there seems to be a lot of light leaking out around the beam. Even when I focus is down to a dot, there is a line of light extending out. On the wall without taking a picture through glasses

Thanks. I will just stick with Jet Lasers. I was really impressed with their product. They are expensive, too, but seem to be worth it.

Here's another question: should the focused beam look like this? See how there's a ring around the central dot? It almost looks like there's light leakage or something. For a 200mW laser, I'm not very impressed with the burning power, but maybe I'm expecting too much. It will eventually burn...

No affiliation. I bought a Sanwo pocket from them since it was pretty heavily discounted. As far as the glasses, there's no markings. Pretty cheap, but that's kinda what I expected.

I got these with a 405nm laser I ordered from Laser Pointer Store. They looks pretty cheap, and have no markings to indicate wavelengths blocked or OD. I briefly shined the beam at the side of the glasses, and it did seem to stop it. Are the glasses for violet lasers normall greenish like...

I got my 200 mW Sanwu pocket in 405 nm today, and I don't think shining it on my wall, or wooden door seems to be an issue (at least not for a few minutes at a time). If I focus the beam a foot or two away from the device, by the time it hits the wall, it's a large enough spot to not really do...

Thanks! Yeah, these are the IR plus visible. I verified using my IR camera, and they do seem to work. I probably won't do any burning with this one anymore since I have a more powerful laser in blue. So far, these glasses are great, though. I see how they make it easier to focus the spot...
