My company has a need to draw our corporate logo onto an outside wall in daylight. Every time I search for 'laser projection' all I find is actual business style projectors, etc.
I know a laser light show style is what I need, but not sure what to call it.
Ideas??
Yep, thanks. I need a line displayed in bright sunshine on the ground about 10' in length and about 10-15' from the laser. I'm guessing a 150-200mw laser would work??
A couple of pliers later....I tore it all apart. I am now attempting to McGyver a new laser mount but the collimating lens doesn't fit quite right. Arg!
Oh....now you got me thinking. If I could extract the diode module from that heat sink and thus only have the small diode and driver to work with, then my existing box enclosure for my HMI and micro controller could be reworked to put the laser inside instead of outside and fastened with a...
Admittedly I'm a bit new to lasers, so here's what I found. The packaging came with a label that showed 4.5v and rest was in Chinese. I tried the 5v and even 12v supplies and none worked. I then went back to their web site looking for more info. It showed (link below) that the 'working...
Received a new laser from Laserland today. It appears to be decent quality, big black aluminum housing, but tiny thin wires for power and ground out the back end.
Plugged into multiple 5VDC power adapters and it's DOA. No good.
Bummer!
My request is different from the original post author. I don't need a double-ended laser. Just a laser pointer style with a LINE lens. My concern is the power level needed to be seen in broad daylight. I'm hoping I can drive a powerful enough laser with just 5VDC. Anyone know where I can find a...
The laser will be mounted on a rail about 34" above the ground and shine down at a 45 degree angle and draw a line about 10 feet long. So the working distance would be less than 15 feet I suppose. I haven't actually done the math to work out the exact specs.
I too need a Green laser with a LINE lens for outdoor/bright sunlight viewing. What is the minimum power laser I could use to accomplish this and where might I buy one?
Thanks!!
