Thanks! I've purchased new batteries and the appropriate charger. You think it could be a battery issue. Because it stays stable for a second then gets dim and flickers. I'd hate it to be a wiring issue.
Update:
Thank you all for your help! I got my new laser today, however as my luck goes it wasn't perfect. Now I'm pretty sure it's a battery issue and not a contact issue, but after I turn on the laser, it will be bright for 1/2 a second, then go dim and start flickering. These batteries...
Unfortunately I did not. Looking back on it, that would be a safer alternative. At this point, I'd be content with a replacement laser, since I can't send back the glasses I purchases specificly for this laser.
I don't believe I can send it anywhere in the US, believe me, I know how tedious shipping to china is. When I ship it tomorrow I'll send them the tracking number and ask them to just send a new one and keep the old defective one.
Update:
Got a reply from LPS today, they emailed me and told me to return only the laser, and they will fix it for me, I am unsure if fixing entails sending another unit identical to the one I had, or actually taking it apart and replacing the diode and LED and all the other burnt components...
I totally forgot. You'd think after going to China 2 different times I would have remembered. Yeah, you are probably right, I'll contact them again if I don't get a reply by Tuesday. Thanks!
Hello, I'm just going to cut right to the chase, no fancy introduction. I need some help.
I recently purchased the THOR Ultra laser pointer from laserpointerstore it arrived within 2 weeks and the package was not damaged when it arrived.
It arrived on Thursday April 4th. And I've had it since...
Thanks! He didn't really have what I needed though. Would anyone be willing to make this? I've started trying to make mine, but don't have all the tools required to make a good one.
I know I'm a (lot) bit late. But if you still have that thing, I can offer 50$, I don't have a huge laser budget right now, but Id always love to get a new laser
So, I recently saw a product that was designed like an Iron-Man glove but with a twist. It included a 700mw 445nm laser inside it, as well as a 300mw red laser. While that's a good output and the quality seemed good, I'm looking for a more slim glove that I can integrate a powerful diode into...
Thanks! It does!
Also, thought I would let everyone know, I contacted LPS and asked for a LPM measurement of the 3watt version. The 3watt caps off at about 4watts. 3.7-4.0 is it approximately. They send me an LPM measurement photo of it. Hope this helps anyone looking to buy from them.
I think what I might do, is test out the Thor Ultra from laserpointerstore.com and see how I like it, if I dislike it I will come back here and see if I can find a better deal!
Yeah. Unfortunately they do not offer a G-2 lens. However an optical lens doesn't melt like an acrylic would, G-2 wouldn't either, but ya know an optical is better than acrylic.
I appreciate the reply. Have you ordered from them? If so are the lasers good quality?
I have my eye(s) on the Thor Ultra 3Watt, but I haven't seen any demo's of the 3 Watt version. I have seen a demo for the 5w, but is the 3w one ACTUALLY 3w.
