Just to meekly slde my head in, yeah, at least for me I think this kind of topic is really interesting food for thought(read: hypotheticals) and that's really about it. It's like the kind of thing you would sit around a campfire and rattle on about while sipping your beer, lol.. But yeah, no...
So, I have most of the wavelengths and powers of lazer. For some reason the one that seems to summon up the weird, unexplainable noises from out beyond my back yard, is my 400mw 405nm. I can fire greens, reds, high-power blues.. etc. While those are really bright for seemingly miles.. ...
Hmm this is very strange. I have many Sanwus and they have all been fantastic. They all seem pretty simple as far as their construction, which is part of the appeal. I’ve never picked one up and thought ‘cheap’.. but I don’t own a Guardian though.. maybe they are lesser quality. But the other...
People always say you can't aim a laser effectively when in a panic situation..Well, the way I look at it that's what you're doing with a gun also. Except the laser stays on and you can see exactly where it's going in order to correct your aim. With a gun you have only so many shots to get it...
I have a pair of Polk RT55i's that I have hooked up to my Aragon 8008. They actually sound really nice for what they are. They definitely punch above their class.. Sound staging is really decent,... etc. But I've never listened to anything from Klipsch
I've always wondered about this too. I have a laser dazzler that also has a stun gun function. I do sometimes go up into where bears live at a cabin that's up in the mountains. The dazzler is a 520nm green laser at 1 watt that diffuses out. But it gets tighter the closer in it is. I would find...
Ok, I was playing around with my Laser Ranger today.. I was wrong, it only has the one ring. I got it mixed up with my Striker Saber that had the two power rings. So with the half clicks on the button, it just cycles through the three modes: constant, strobe, and s.o.s.. What do you mean by "the...
Looks like you may have gotten one with the safety lock out feature on it and it's in lock out mode....? You said you wanted that feature and Podo said he could do it. My Sanwus with lock out do that dot and blinky(I think when you button around with it in lock out mode).. Try to do the 5 half...
I wouldn't worry so much about it just yet. Did you use the $38 DHL/Fedex shipping? .. On the other hand, I have ordered many things from them but have never had a false cancel. I have cancelled orders though. In my experience, their website is only loosely tied to reality in that you could...
They don't come with batteries. You have to order them on the drop down menu. It's better to order them separately though since adding batteries to the shipment of laser just adds that much more that can go wrong in transit to you
I've ordered 6 lasers from Sanwu over the years. All arrived within a reasonable amount of time and they still work just fine. The only order that that's a little iffy is the 7.5watt Striker that I ordered on Jan 17 that I'm still waiting on.. but that's due to the terrible situation over there...
So I just bought an actual 488nm Sanwu.. The one in the previous pics was really a 492nm. They both have the same diode (S308B292) but are operating at different currents.
This is a Laser Ranger 488nm . I have a rudimentary spectrometer that shows it at 486nm. On high setting, it does have a...
Yeah, if you think about all the secret "classified" operations going on with the US government, in particular the military industrial complex since the late 1940s, it's just common sense that they have the ability to do pretty much whatever the heck they want for many decades, and get away with...
I have that same laser. That lens on yours doesn't look quite right to me. It looks kind of rough. Maybe that's from the cleaning ..? But the outer lens on mine has a smoother, thinner shape. And the glue work around the edges in those pics doesn't look like typical Jet Lasers build standards...
You won't have a very visible beam at night.. Even if it is way over-spec and pushing 400mw, you still won't really see much of a 405nm beam unless you have some fog or smoke in the air. A 445nm blue one at 200mw on the other hand would be visble at night
If it's any consolation... eh.. it's...
