Whats in your computer? Computer Builds! :D

Around 34C idle and 55C load (Prime95). My friend has the Ivy bridge equivalent of my CPU (i5-3570k) OC'd to 4.7GHz as well and with the same cooler he gets 80C in Prime95.

WARNING - Do not purchase from Lazerer [Update - possible resolution]

Re: WARNING - Do not purchase from Lazerer I've been trying to get a hold of someone from Lazerer for a few weeks now with no avail. I've sent 4 emails so far, two through the websites contact page and 2 directly to their Paypal address. Maybe they're backed up on orders or something...

    1-2W green laser?

Sounds like a boring place to live. Here in the US we enjoy having the right to accidentally shoot ourselves, blind ourselves, shock ourselves, cut ourselves, burn ourselves, and blow all our fingers off. :gun: Seriously though, good luck finding a 1-2W green laser for less than $1000+ and...

1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)

Re: 1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (Now available as $50 JAD KIT) Hmm... it appears that a single 18650 is not enough to power it at all. EDIT: Nevermind. It appears it doesn't work with one 18650 in particular. It works fine with my other one. Not sure why as they're both charged...

1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)

Re: 1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (Now available as $50 JAD KIT) It is actually focused down to a tiny dot. The combination of a white wall in a slightly dark room with a cell phone camera just blew it out of proportion. I think this is the first laser I've ever bought that completely...

Re: 1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (Now available as $50 JAD KIT) My laser arrived today! Just waiting on the batteries to charge to test it out. EDIT: Absolutely brilliant.

1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)

Re: 1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (Now available as $50 JAD KIT) That's perfect actually. It's good to have a "safe mode" for use around other people. Should keep my 18650's from collecting dust too. Both lasers I had that used them quit working.

1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)

Re: 1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (Now available as $50 JAD KIT) Thanks for testing it out for me. That'll save me the $5 it costs to use my schools laser lab. Also, "batteries"? Is it 2x16340?

1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)

Re: 1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (Now available as $50 JAD KIT) Yea, I just got the email from PayPal :san: 5 inches should be perfect for the holster I was looking at. The laser goggles I ordered from Amazon will probably arrive a few days after the laser so it'll be awhile before...

Re: 1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (Now available as $50 JAD KIT) About how long is the host? I was looking at buying a holster for it and was wondering if it would fit in a 12-14cm one.

Re: 1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (Now available as $50 JAD KIT) Right, sorry again then. I'm just paranoid I guess. You'd think after years of buying stuff online I'd have gotten over these fears but I still get a feeling of impending doom when I don't get a tracking number after a...

1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)

Re: 1.4W-2.5W Blue-Ice Lasers $125 shipped (Now available as $50 JAD KIT) Hey Yob, I know you're busy but is there any chance my order shipped yet? I sent you a PM a couple days ago but you must have missed it. I don't want to be a bother but I'm getting a little nervous. Both times that I...

What do you think about this laser?

You'd be better off spending your $35 at a well known and reputable company even if the laser you get isn't rated for 100mW. Just because they say it's a certain power doesn't mean it is. They could tell you it's 500mW if they wanted to. I learned this the hard way and ordered my first few...

    My Razer Naga Mouse!

That's just what I can manage on a quick (60 second) typing test. On a 10 minute or longer test I average around 70ish. Being able to type quickly really does save you a lot of time when you're on a computer for 6-14 hours a day like I am.

    My Razer Naga Mouse!

-shudders- Dude... please... I'm begging you. Wipe off your mouse once in awhile. Nice mouse though. I thought about upgrading to a Naga from my Deathadder awhile back but couldn't come up with enough reasons to. Mechanical keyboards are definitely amazing. Love my Das Model S Ultimate :D...

What do you think about this laser?

I doubt it's actually 100mw. If it is, it probably has a lot of IR. However, I don't have any actual experience with that seller so for all I know it's on spec. Maybe someone else could tell you more.

    Do you EDC your laser?

Eh, that's still kind of a pain. It would take me awhile to work it in with all my other EDC stuff. We'll see.

    Do you EDC your laser?

Not usually. All of my lasers are the generic pen style with the button on the side. I'm always afraid they'll turn themselves on in my pocket.
