Tried looking around to see if anyone is using their lasers with a cad chassis. Built a laser a couple years back from info found here, but haven't really done much with it. But with a practical application that doesn't risk getting me in trouble looking to dig back into it.
Have been looking for a host like this but maybe have been looking in the wrong places. Anyone know if I can find a host like this anywhere? Thought about buying this laser and gutting it to use as a host. Can get it delivered for under $20
Host case will be a stream light case, currently holds two cr123a batteries. Will use 18650 battery if diameter fits or two 16340s.

Thinking about giving this laser a chance. Includes a battery and charger. Worst case scenario figure not a bad price for a host case. Plus a chance to tear a laser apart and get a better idea on how they are assembled.

Been interested in high powered lasers. And always been a bit of a tinker. Looking forward to learning how to make one of my own. Have a stream light host that uses two cr123a batteries. Curious to see what I can come up with in the 200mw range.
