I'll talk to Podo thanks. You have a point there too, I should probably just be looking into laser shows instead since that's actually a real interest of mine and this product is more amateur and not hands on obviously(not saying it doesn't look super cool though :) )
Ok i understand what you are saying about the double diffraction grating, thanks for that info :) The gif on the product page is still throwing me off though. https://www.sanwulasers.com/product/304
So maybe this gif thats posted on the product page for the 304 series is demonstrating that it...
After a long pause in the hobby, I am back and looking at adding on the auto effect cap spinner for one of the basic lasers or bundle of them that sanwu offers
I am a little clueless about the spinning cap though.
Does it Spin while cycling through different effects or is there more operation...
thanks for this info grainde :)
alright well im fine w/ two AAA i guess and yes i doubt they heatsink this very well except modules fit pretty snug in these pens (ive gutted a broken greenie pen) but i can assure you the driver was not heatsinked and i dont think they give you a duty cycle...
yes i was thinking that the lithiums may be too much... but i was not sure what driver would be inside (i was thinking boost) but i thought it may be a 803t because its case +'ve and around the output of one most likely, i also dont know of any weaker 405nm diodes.
and how could the driver be...
last night my x2 405nm lasers came in! the color is amazing  i have cut and put holes in electrical tape , matches smoke (need more patience) and i have punctured holes in white baloons w/ sharpie dot on them. all of these were done w/ magnify glass but i believe i could smoke electrical...
well my plan was to not just have the batteries connected when the wall output was but both of your theories sound nice about the "switching" of the power sources but i dont completely understand.
BTW im trying to not post so much because i want my hundreth to be my first build :shhh:
:beer...
:bumpit: BUMP :bumpit:
limited quanity left!! 239 sold!
it now says more than ten available so they will be gone probably by tommorow.
BTW no one has replied maybe this is a bad deal...it seems ok to me but maybe not. atleast a good deal for a blu-ray player
yes thats all right but my main question is would the plugin/battery power work. like if the batteries were dead and needed to use the laser but could not wait for them to charge, i could plug it in.
BTW here is a pic that was drawn by me. (more in OP.)

hey guys recently i thought of an idea. how about a lab/handheld hybrid! I came up with the idea after i hit my head in the bathroom  (not really, see my back to the future reference :D) but the host would be a classic altoids tin (i know unoriginal) but this is perfect because it...
that may work i dont think there is whit tailcaps though i guess you would have your best luck w/ the baby blue ones.
 Justin
use a red host too!
yea forgot to mention in parallel (oops :o)
i think i saw that bionicbadger said you could use multimeter w/ linears and he is reputable ;) so if he or any other person more reputable than us can answer this that would be great!
and i dont think the 9v batts are actually 9v, but your option...
i was being sarcastic, guess it wasnt clear... i will edit the post now ;)
yea i saw the dilda one coming :D
i would suggest getting one of flaminpyros "conical" focus rings. that makes this present a lot more useful :)
 Justin
if you want the red tailcap i would suggest DX if you dont mind waiting. and the anodized focus knobs can be obtained from survival lasers they have red if thats what you are looking for.
EDIT- i checked DX and cant find any red ones! sorry :(
 Justin
here is the red focus ring...
