I am looking to buy sharp 520nm 1200 mW. Is it single or dual beam. It is the cheapest 1w+diode I can find compared to nichia ndg 7075. It would be an optical nightmare to combine or collimate the 2 beams.
Yes, there are ways to see IR light such as laser. There are two options. Either a IR converted digital camera or night vision glasses/goggles binoculars. You can buy these from multiple sources online.
Hi, I have never built a DIY laser before but I do have experience with strong laser pointers, electronics, soldering and LEDS. I would like to build a green laser pointer from parts for as cheaply as possible. I know I need a host, diode, driver, module, heatsink and battery. For the diode I am...
As a first laser I would reccomend a weaker and more eye-safe laser rather than jumping straight into high powered laser which for many you need eye protection. As a first laser I would say you should stick within the class 2 or 3R laser safety rating which is 1-5 mW of power. These are usually...
Green Dpss lasers are usually 532nm whereas direct diode ones are around 520~525nm. Direct diode is much stronger than dpss so if you have a high powered 1w+green laser it's most likely direct diode. Green dpss lasers are usually below 500mw. If it's a cheap laser like the chinese built laser...
