Really, the line output ones have better divergence than the uncorrected diodes? I noticed line output and square output FAC diodes on ebay, i expected the line ones to be useless for our applications
oh that’s awesome, i didn’t know we had fast axis correction available for these diodes! where are they available from?
EDIT: nevermind i found some 1.5W 525nm FAC diodes with a square spot on ebay. very cool!
I’ve been thinking about this too. I haven’t seen a direct comparison, would anybody know how the divergence compares between the NDG7475 and the NUGM03? Thanks!
pretty exciting in my books, i’d like to see DTR carry it and test it out. if i had any variable power supplies or a LPM i would get my own data on it. would love this in a build!
How could the IR light leak happen then? I could only think of that happening with misaligned crystals. Could just IR output happen if the driver board is broken and not enough power is getting to the pump diode or something?
OP, if that is the problem and you do end up manually fixing the...
i mean if there’s suspected IR leaking out and you hear rattling it’s a pretty guilty sign of the crystals responsible for harmonic summing and frequency doubling have come loose, in which case im sorry to say you’re almost certainly hoopajooped :(
